Happy Sunday! Technically this post was supposed to go up on Friday, and then – as seems to be the case lately – I lost track of time and never hit publish. Whoops.

You may have noticed that I’ve been posting less around here, but I promise that with fall is coming more regularity. In fact I sat down today to make a bit ‘ol list of rooms and updates I want to shoot around the house! My most favorite kind of content. I’ve also got a few ideas for new series, and I’m going to work on getting some more personal posts going too. I miss writing them, actually! For now, our second round of Three Things…

ONE:the happiest office with striped ceilings | coco kelleygreat gallery wall and striped ceiling | coco kelley

When you’re in a creative industry, you need creative space! And this little studio might just be the happiest I’ve ever seen.

Dubbed ‘The Playhouse,’ this space is the combined effort of designers Tina Rich and Tali Roth, and it’s is giving me so much energy and life! The best part? It’s shoppable!! But the most impressive piece of inspiration for me by far is the ceiling paint. The stripes are SO FUN, and I love the dual-colored trim too. Way to make a small space have major impact, right? Yes please to working here!

TWO:ulla johnson marble waterfall kitchen island

If you have yet to see the super inspiring house tour belonging to the delightful Ulla Johnson, get to it. The house is full of life and color, but this marble island is by far the showstopper. I love that mauve tone so so much!!

THREE:oak wood vanity and cabinets for almost makes perfect bathroom renovation

We’re starting to plan for some renovations down in our basement, and I cannot wait to remodel the bathroom. It needs some serious help. I’m pretty sure that we will be gutting it and starting from scratch. It’s smaller than this space, and definitely won’t accommodate a double vanity, but this is really close to what I want. But did you notice something about the shower?white plaster shower in a modern bathroom makeover on almost makes perfect

No tile!! (Well, except on the floor). That’s right! Molly over at Almost Makes Perfect decided that they would go with a fresh white plaster for their shower walls. I didn’t even know that was a thing!! I’m also bookmarking this because the scale, layout and details are exactly what I want for ours! Our window is smaller than this one, and on the left, but I was definitely hoping to add the built-in storage and I like this long one a lot. And of course the bench is a must for shaving! I hadn’t thought about adding a sprayer, but I do like that idea, too. Also, the placement of the door in the middle makes it easy for turning the shower on without getting soaked. Bonus!
