January is always an interesting month for me when it comes to shopping. Bank accounts are a bit more depleted, and I have the urge to purge and start fresh. I also have the urge to add items to my home and routine that feel inspiring, purposeful, and… maybe just a little bit tropical to counter all this rain and snow.
With that in mind… here’s this month’s mix of goodies that I’m loving right now:
1. ‘crystal ball’ print by jennifer ament | 2. marble double taper holder | 3. linen & monogram notebook | 4. osea body balm | 5. arched bamboo floor mirror | 6. wicker side table (also comes in a longer coffee table!) | 7. charcoal ceramic table lamp | 8. intentional calendar
I mentioned there aren’t a lot of ‘needs’ on my list right now, but I have been keeping my eyes open for a couple items for the house, one of which is a full length mirror for the entryway. I’m obsessed with this new one from Serena & Lily that combines all my favorite elements: natural materials and arches! I’ve also been looking for a lightweight coffee table that we can put in the basement – it needs to be lightweight because some days I’ll work out or do yoga down there and I need to be able to easily move it out of the way. This wicker table from Urban Outfitters might just be perfect – and in budget! Although I’ll probably keep my eyes open for something vintage for a while, in case I can get a steal of a deal. I’m not in a hurry!
As for essentials, there are a few little items that have been making my day lately! At the top of that list is the Osea Body Balm that I’ve been slathering all over my dry winter skin. This stuff is amazing! I use it mostly on my hands and elbows, as it’s not cheap, but it’s so worth it. I feel like I don’t have to reapply it every hour! I’ve also been making lists like crazy, and my stack of Appointed notebooks is keeping me organized and inspired. I also love that you can monogram them! Lastly – I haven’t had a calendar in ages, but my friend Erin sent me this one as a gift this year, and I adore its small scale and quick forecasts for the month that include color, mood, key dates and more.
