I sort of took a hiatus from doing these moodboard posts this summer. Not on purpose, of course, but I suppose because life was just busy! I’ve missed them though. They’ve sort of turned into my once-a-month personal posts, so I’m happy to be bringing them back as we dive into September…

Currently, I’m feeling a deep need to nest, and am being drawn to warm rust, camel and mauve tones…

September is always a settling in and winding down month for me. Not just because of the shift in seasons, but because it’s the last month before my birthday which always causes a bit of reflection and pause before the onslaught of another year… and the holidays.

After the past two months of feeling completely unsettled, it’s nice to feel like things are getting back into a rhythm – at work and at home. I’m feeling a bit more inspired again and am excited to start shooting more for the blog now that our studio isn’t in turmoil!

At home, there’s a great balance too – a nice zen to the his and hers that’s coming along in the whole combining households process. I’m sure I’ll be giving you updates as some of our new pieces start to arrive and rooms start to take shape…

What’s your current mood? Here’s to a month of feeling a bit more cozy and balanced for me (and you too!).
