The last time I moved into a whole new place, I came with barely anything. Because of that I had to rush to decorate. I had no sofa, no bed, no dining room table… and now, of course I have more than I even need. Which means, I’m very slowly taking my time in pulling inspiration and determining directions.
March’s moodboard inspiration is only a slice of some of that – a nod to cultural influences in the vein of the Southwest and South America, and a bohemian feel that’s perfectly west coast…

I love all the texture that comes from the natural elements – like baskets and wood – combined with a strong mid-century vibe, ethnic textiles, cactus, and a dash of strong reds…

Pulled together into a moodboard, it feels something like this…
If I were to turn this into a room, it would be heavily based on the natural elements and layers of cream and white, but with a dash of that red and plenty of chocolate brown. What mood does this put you in? To me, it feels like a nice warm getaway…
