This week’s room is one for the books. First of all, let’s all applaud the use of the rubber tree plant instead of a fig tree!! (but seriously…). Secondly, I’ll once again acknowledge that the architecture in the space plays a huge part in taking this fresh, cozy living room to a whole other level…

But really it’s the warm neutral palette and the unique pieces that are creating a little moment of bliss for me. I love the library table and benches paired with modern sofa and chairs…

Because of the rustic-meets-urban loft nature of the space, I’m actually ok with the modern mix pieces in one room… kinda. I love (need!?) those huge leather floor cushions though – they help add a little warmth and lend a casual feel too. But the piece I’m crushing on the most in this room?

Giant. Blue. Egg. Chair. Yeah, we’ve all seen the return of those hanging woven ones, but this is a totally luxe take on that, and I think it’s awesome. Plus, a great dose of color.
The designers of the space – Huniford Design Studio – also created this gorgeous kitchen…
