The Greek Islands have always been on the top of my list as far as vacations go, for their whitewashed beauty and – obviously – proximity to the sea. And, while I envision many homes there boasting fairly simple interiors, I have to say that this more ‘formal’ compound by designer Isabel Lopez-Quesada has completely captured my heart with its relaxed but refined style…

Not to play favorites, buuuuuut…. THIS ROOM! I love the use of that soft, subtle blue throughout the home. As opposed to the bold blue we are used to seeing in Greece, this sets a soft, dreamy stage for a more quiet palette that feels beachy and light.

Another continuous theme throughout the home are these lovely stripes (I mean, who can ever have too many stripes!?). More reminiscent of French ticking than nautical, I love how they mix into the decor in the living room, bedroom, even dining room!

The kitchen is pretty fantastic, taking a classic white and blue scheme and totally elevating it. It’s simple, but sophisticated with that cool white marble… and of course it leads right out to one of the many patios.

A more formal living room area, this is what I’m talking about when I say relaxed but refined. I think it still certainly invites lounging (I’ll take the chaise please!), but doesn’t feel untouchable despite its perfectly placed layout. You’ll notice that there’s not a single rug to be found in this whole place, which lends to this whole breezy feel… I’m completely obsessed with the floors and the ceilings in that high-gloss blue!

And of course, there are many a sunny patio to be had around the home, and the view from the pool is nothing short of magical. Can you imagine this being your vacation getaway!? Well, let’s make that reality with this get the look…
