I’ve had wallpaper on the brain lately, as I’ve been sourcing some ideas for several different projects, and when I stumbled on this fresh, whimsical hallway, I instantly fell in love with this pattern!

As the entryway to a petite apartment, this small space makes an instant impression – it feels so happy to me!

The pattern is by Cole & Sons and it’s called ‘Secret Garden’. The combination of the seashells with the crawling vine is basically combining two of my favorite things, so I may have to make this pattern a contender for somewhere in my home. Where would you put it? I’m thinking maybe a hall or powder room? We’ve also been looking at wallpaper for our studio space too…

The fact that it’s paired with bleached wood floors certainly helps too. The effect might not be the same in a space with something darker. Also, since this is our room of the week, we should talk about the room itself. For as small as it is, the fact that it provides a little nook for hanging items as an entryway, and an extra closet, is pretty impressive.

The hallway is visible from many of the main rooms and I love how it looks peeking through the fresh white doorways of the rest of the home.

It just goes to show how a little personality can go a long way with decorating! If I were back in one of my small apartments, I would definitely consider some temporary wallpaper in a hall. That’s a project that I could totally tackle! You can see the rest of the home (and a few more peeks at that wallpaper!) here.
