My favorite Easter memory from growing up in California was hunting for eggs amongst wildflowers in the hills of Malibu. I can recall so vividly the way my white dress snagged the tall grasses while combing every inch of land for little treasures. So, it’s no surprise that I’ve been wanting to recreate this feeling into a tabletop for quite some time now! I just love the way these fresh spring flowers arranged in a low box container creates a perfect meadow runner for an Easter brunch setting!
I enlisted the help of my talented friend Carey of Bleedfoot Florals to bring my vision to life, and boy did she deliver!!! Just the sight of these happy little flowers running the length of the table brings me so much joy!! The key to this look is to use a really low container (we spray painted these wood ones the same gray as the linen to blend in more!), and to use a mix of stems and planted florals for that wild, meadow style. 
The pansies were selected not only for their adorable faces, but because we also wanted to have flowers in the centerpieces that were repeated in the food! I think we all love how beautiful edible florals are on a dish, right??
I whipped up these delicious blueberry lemon ricotta crepes with lavender honey just for the occasion – and I’ll be sharing that recipe with you tomorrow! I just love coordinating the menu with the table. 
I always leave a little gift for guests at each place setting, and this time around we decided to keep it simple with petite posies wrapped in twine that would be perfect to pin to your Easter hat, lapel or dress! Aren’t they just the sweetest?? You could also attach a little tag to each one with guest’s names, or a message that feels appropriate to the holiday!
As a pretty pairing to our crepes, I opted for pink lemonade garnished with more edible flowers. But, if you’re the type to throw a more boozy brunch, keep things simple and fresh with a pink lemonade spritz by topping things off with a splash of prosecco and twist of fresh lemon. 
The best part of a table like this one is that you can keep the settings so simple. The centerpieces are really the stars of the show, so I loved these soft blue (they’re really almost a gray!) dishes from Anthropologie. With the casual nature of the flowers, it only felt right to put away the fine china for this table and use pieces that felt handmade. We got a little more playful with the glassware though, and I think it made it a fun mix! 
Last but not least? If you’re feeling extra festive, you could definitely hide a few Easter eggs of your own in the table centerpiece! Or, keep it a sophisticated ode to spring just like this.
