With temps around here finally getting warmer, I’ve found myself with a major craving for all things summer the past few days! Sadly, my wanderlust for a few days by the sea will have to be appeased by a tour of this gorgeous hotel for now.
Located in the South of France, Les Roches Rouges is the perfect combination of pared down modernism and beach vibes through and through….
The entrance gives you a hint of what’s within – perfectly designed, but not at all stuffy, just beach chic style.
I love the ceiling treatment of thick grasscloth and the stone flooring – it feels like a throwback in the best way possible! The materials used here are so so perfect.
While the hotel may be instagram famous for its outdoor areas (hello pool by the sea!), the interior is not to be overlooked. Modernism reigns in the styles used, while simplicity wins out in the bedrooms. After all, when you have a view of the Mediterranean Sea, what else do you need but a nice all-white backdrop to enjoy it by?
While I appreciate the desk space, I’m not sure how on earth I’d get anything done while vacationing here! This is the kind of place where I’d lock my laptop away indefinitely. Don’t you love all the woven textures and funky lighting?? And the artwork too.
The few rooms that don’t face the sea have some heavenly little patios with a courtyard view to enjoy.
I’m crossing my fingers for another Euro trip in early fall, and I feel like this place may have to enter the itinerary!! I was only planning on a quick stop in Paris, but the coast is calling my name…
