Today’s Wanderlust Design getaway is three for the price of one: a charming wine & garden shop, a beautiful event space, and an Airbnb for guests to stay in (hello, rosé at your fingertips!). Even better? It’s also HERE on the west coast, which means it’s way more accessible than those dreamy Portugal, Morocco and Mallorca getaways I’m always posting about!
Meet Bodega.
Have you ever seen a business and thought, “This is basically my dream scenario”? Well, welcome to mine. An intersection of wine, entertaining, and interiors? I don’t think I could come up with anything much better than this! A dash of gardening to bring in a floral element doesn’t hurt either!
But what I love most is the scale of things here. Every space feels intimate, like you’re in someone’s home.
In the ‘backyard’ you find an abundance of places to sip your wine, gather friends, or even throw a party! I can imagine how magical small events are here, especially when taking advantage of all the different areas of the collective space – like this charming garden shed…
Cafe lights, bocce ball, an outdoor bar and casual picnic tables complete the scene.
The only thing better than getting to enjoy a space like this all evening, is the fact that you can rent out the Bodega House on Airbnb!
Such a perfect way to enjoy a night (or two!) in this area! I’m already scheming up an excuse to rent this whole space out. Maybe my 40th birthday? But I’m not sure I can wait that long (I’ll be 39 in October! Yikes!).
From a design perspective, I just love this little kitchen. It’s small but mighty with such gorgeous details like that zellige tile, brass hardware, and custom island.
I love the brick tile in the back entry combined with the hat wall and bench. This is so my aesthetic jam.
Upstairs, the master bedroom is quite spacious!! Through the door is a second bedroom and bath.
Again, just nailing it with the simplicity of the decor. You can’t go wrong with a vintage rug, woven sconces, linen bedding, and that yummy leather headboard!
There’s even a private patio area just for you to enjoy with your friends or all to yourself. Glass of wine in hand, of course.
Wanna get the look for yourself? Here are some of the exact pieces from the home and garden, along with a few of my own selections!!
