I only have one rule when it comes to these colors … I much prefer them in luxe fabrics and classic forms. When done in an ultra modern environment, they don’t seem to have the same effect for me as these rich velvets and satins, or paired with gold.

milan fashion week citron + blue

Whether it’s a pale blue and muddy olive, or rich teal with citron, the combination of these colors – in varying hues – always works. For the record, my favorite addition to this combo is a burst of pink or fuchsia.
